Rules for submissionIf you would like to present something, please present it in plain text format as it will be posted here in the same format as every other piece. So there is no point in sending me html documents with yellow text on black backgrounds in Celtic MT font with graphic first capitals... that will be changed. Don't waste your time on it. If you are opposed to your work being posted in the manner in which the rest of the work is presented, then don't waste my time in submitting it. Please know that I edit what I post, With typographical errors, I correct them, post the work and send a list back to the Author to let them know what I corrected so that the Author has a chance to make the correction in their original text as well. Major corrections, I will send the edited copy to the Author with explanations and wait for word 'proceed or withdraw or resubmit.' If you can't take editing, don't expect to sell a book. A publisher's editor will rip through the best work in the world with his blue pencil, and any serious writer has to be ready for that, and be able to take the criticism. Nothing I ever suggest will be meant as a rip on your work. It will only be intended to improve your work, just as I expect my own editors remarks to help me improve my own work Now that we're clear on all that.. Please submit submit submit. There's not a whole lot here yet, and I'm anxious to see more. Artwork may be submitted with your stories. Illustrations need to be marked in the text so I know at which point to insert which picture. Artwork will also be displayed in the Illustrations Gallery. If the artwork is not your own, please obtain permission to use it, and show me proof of that permission so that I can note the Artist and their web address if possible. |
