Redemption
What kind of love would cause an infinite Creator
To become His creation, to experience its life
Through its own eyes?
Fully God and fully man - the divine paradox.
Only a love stronger than death could overcome it.
And on the third day, the tomb was empty.
A hoax, some say - but the burial garments weighed
a hundred pounds or more and were still intact,
Though empty and neatly folded.
Human wills are selfish to the extreme, far below
In the dark pits where the heart's desires lie.
How else to explain the world's chaos?
Divine forgiveness is not so simple a matter.
The Creator who made the Law abides by it.
That Law condemns human sin.
Sin and sins - the condition and its effects.
Both had to be dealt with, eradicated completely.
In the Law, blood alone atones for sin.
Why that way? Sin is the antithesis of all that is God.
His infinite wrath cannot abide its presence.
Therefore, humans can never know Him.
But out of His infinite love, He found a way.
Fully taking our punishment upon Himself
As a man rejected and despised.
Willingly He accepted the loneliness and pain
So that the sting of death might be forever overcome
And His righteous wrath appeased.
Only through the true Lamb of the Passover
Can we draw near to the heavenly Father above.
And He will call us His children.
Why this path alone? Why no other?
All others focus upon the efforts of flawed beings
Attempting to achieve what they cannot reach.
The enemy of God, the deceiver, creates false truths
As numerous as the sand on the seashore.
Choose whichever lie you so desire.
The deceiver's purpose is to keep seekers trapped,
Unable to find Truth amidst a sea of falsehoods
Made to look real but having no substance.
Some there are who claim to know Him yet they lie.
He knows hearts and those who are truly His.
You can become one of them.
Just ask Him.
